| Hi I am Janette and I have been involved in dog breeding and showing for nearly 2 decades. I have had the pleasure of campaigning award winning Beagles and while I still follow the progress of Beagles in New Zealand my heart and head have been turned by a wonderful breed the Swedish Vallhund. I was fortunate to have known the late Rose Madsen, pioneering Swedish Vallhund breeder, and my first bitch NZCH Valkrista Miss Matilda comes from the respected Valkrista Kennel in the far north. Tilly, as she is known is a lovely girl Tilly was made up to champion taking in show wins along the way. I am now campaigning Barahwolfe Caramel Velvet to his champion title. Peta Dowle of Barahwolfe Kennels sent me a really nice boy pup in 2010 and we intend for Cody and Tilly to help establish the Little Court standard for the Swedish Vallhunds in Aotearoa. I am a breeder member of the Swedish Vallhund Club and New Zealand Kennel Club and invite enquiries about this awesome little dog breed from Sweden. |
Update -
February 2011.
Tilly and Cody are away to more shows coming up. Cody earned another Baby Puppy of Group, so is stacking up the wins. In preparation of the March edition of NZ Dog World we have organise new photos of the dogs. I can't believe how much Cody has grown.

Our breed is featured in an excellent profile published by the NZKC. Our advert can be seen in the feature. The team at the club put in a tremendous effort. Cody and Tilly are going well. Cody took another win of Puppy on Parade. He really is shaping up. I am taking enquiries for Tilly's first litter that we are planning for the near future.
